Easy Cheesy Ground Beef Stroganoff #easyrecipes #onepotmeals #drewcooks #ploop

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound seasoned ground beef
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2.5 cups beef broth
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups freshly shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 8 ounces egg noodles

Steps:

Toss 1 pound of seasoned ground beef into your pot and break it up while browning. Add 1 diced onion and stir. Cook until there is no more pink in the beef and the onion is soft.

Remove excess grease from the pot, and then add 2 minced garlic cloves. Stir well.

Add 3 tablespoons of butter to the mixture and let it melt.

Once the butter is melted, sprinkle in 3 tablespoons of flour and stir until well incorporated.

Slowly stir in 2.5 cups of beef broth. Continue stirring until all the broth is incorporated.

Bring the mixture to a boil and then add about 3/4 cup of sour cream, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of mustard, and 1 cup of frozen peas. Stir to combine.

Add 1 cup of freshly shredded cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir until melted and combined.

In a separate pot, cook 8 ounces of egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and pour them into the beef mixture. Stir well.

Add 1 more cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture. Put the lid on just long enough for the cheese to melt.

Once the cheese is melted, take the lid off and turn off the heat.

Serve the stroganoff in bowls and enjoy.
